The Summit seeks area artists’ help for spring art show

LYNCHBURG, Va. — In the midst of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, The Summit is inviting local artists to share their work with residents for a temporary art show this spring.

Artwork will be displayed across the Life Plan Community, which includes Independent Living, Assisted Living and Health and Rehab, as a bright spot for residents living under social distancing restrictions for over a year.

“Our goal is to provide a beautiful display across the campus featuring works from talented artists,” Marketing Director Brenda Dixon said. “It’s been a trying year for everyone, but especially seniors and so we hope the community will help us make the days a little brighter for Summit residents and staff.”

Artists willing to display pieces should contact Dixon at 434.582.1500 or email [email protected].
