Assisted Living Opens New Kitchen

After months of renovations, a full-service kitchen is now in use at The Summit Assisted Living.
A former finishing kitchen, the space was retrofitted to a full- service kitchen, giving much more flexibility in dining services, including a salad bar option.
“It’s really nice to see Assisted Living’s culinary experiences to be the same quality residents enjoy in Independent Living,” Marketing Director Brenda Dixon said.
Assisted Living upgrades also include relocating the private dining room and building a salon. The projects are part of The Summit’s master plan for campus renovations. “One of the things we’ve done is elevate the service in Assisted Living,” Dixon said.
