The Summit Begins Campus Expansion Project, Upgrades
The Summit continues to embark on an exciting campus expansion with renovations on the current commons, renamed the Blue Ridge Commons.
A fitness center—featuring new equipment—recently opened, along with expanded bathrooms in the Blue Ridge Commons. A new creative arts room, along with a cafe, opened March 6.
The new cafe serves breakfast and lunch items. “Residents are excited to have another dining option,” Executive Director Kristi Martin said.
The Summit will break ground on 18 new cottages this spring. Pre-sales began in February, Marketing Director Brenda Dixon said. A four seasons patio will also open this spring.

As The Summit begins the next phase of construction, the Life Plan Community has a few apartments currently available, Dixon said.
“There has never been a better time to move to The Summit to be part of the exciting new opportunities and amenities on the way,” Dixon said.
